Homemaker of the Year

Hello
As you all know by now, I have nothing to do with my days so I have a LOT of spare time. Sooo I have taken up cooking and cleaning as my two hobbies (Sad I know, but sadly true). Anyways today I cooked chicken and dumplings from scratch! Well the chicken wasn't from scratch since I live in the city and their aren't any stray chickens running around, but made it all. It was amazing might I add. Everything tasted like it should, and the flour, baking soda, salt and butter actually turned into dumplings just like the recipe said it would. Anyways you should all be very impressed b/c well I'm amazing. :) Not only did I cook chicken and dumplings tonight, a few nights ago I cooked fish tacos, which is amazing. Yea I know it kinda sounds disgusting but once you try it you will love it, very good. Thanks to Ali who introduced me to them, and now I cook them at home. I have also cooked many other original dishes lately but I won't bore you with them all. I just thought you should all be proud of me that I can actually cook, I know a few of you never thought that would happen as you were with me growing up and I showed absolutly no interest in the idea. Anyways this is a very boring post. New topic..... Friday night Kevin and I and our friend Brent and Rich went to Niagara Falls for the night. More were suppose to come but they dropped out, but no big loss as it was perfect as the four of us went. We had a great time. Left afroudn 7:30 friday night from TO and then got to our hotel in Niagara falls and stayed at the Courtyard Marriott which has the biggest rooms I have ever seen in a hotel. Each room has two queens beds and literally enought room to comfortably fit 2 more queen beds in and a huge bathroom. Anyways we then went out for a great dinner and very humerous dinner where I thought we might get kicked out solely based on us laughing so loudly from our own conversations. We then hit the new casino. I quickly (as usual) lost my money as fast as possible while the other three made a bit of profit, but of course by the end of the night that profit was lost. It was all good as it was fun. We then went to the midway on Clifton Hill for drinks and games (like a small dave and busters). THe place was packed with underage kids from Buffalo solely there for the legal drinking age. Anyways we played more games, bowling, golf, trivia, air hockey, etc..... then after a long night ended up of course at a fastfood joint eating eventhough we weren't hungry but the alcohol tricks you like that. Then we took literally a 30 sec cab ride home (we were to lazy to walk) the cabbie didn't seem to like that. OH well. Then off to bed till the morning. We then went denny's for the denny's hangover as Kevin likes to call it (all the grease in the morning makes you feel like you have a hangover...or something like that).... Then we went back to Clifton hill for some cheezy tourist crap. But we did go into this human maze and raced eachother to see who could find all the towers you were suupose to find and get out the fastest. I am proud to say I got out the fastest in 9 minutes. SUckers! Then we went to brick city which is just a mini lego land and then the gennuis book of world records museum. After all that we were exhausted and decided to drive back to the city. I slept most of the afternoon and night away which was fine by me. Sunday Kevin gave me my list bit of my birthday gift....he got a picture of us from newfoundland enlarged and framed to hang in our bedroom. Its a great gift, the pic is so big now and i have been complaining we have nothing on our walls in the bedroom for a long time now so its really nice. We also went ice skating yesterday at the outdoor rink that is across the street where we live. Very nice, I love this location. Okay well now I have summed up my weekend, I'm sure you are all so happy now that you know what i have been doing (actually you probably dont care but oh well I felt like typing)
ok... im done
g'night

I loved your post, I like reading about what all you all are doing. sounds like it was a fantastic weekend. I know you can cook, my fav is now your taco pasta shells. We all like that.

Keep posting anything, no one else seems to post here anymore. Before this, I was the last to post and that is amazing by itself.
